5.3.2 Streamlined development assessmentQ3 · Minor Disruption · Initial scoping of potential processes is currently underway. Project workshop was scheduled for the end of Q3, however was not able to proceed due to staff vacancies (recruitment currently underway).
5.3.3 Council operations improvementQ3 · On Track · Key departments have engaged Business Improvement Officers to work with the ICT counterparts in identifying efficiencies, potential system upgrades, and new system requirements. The rollout of system enhancements across the organisation is progressing well, with ongoing improvements being implemented across departments. Implementation of EftSure as a fraud reduction measure has been initiated during the reporting period. Negotiations with Council's main technology provider continue to ensure that services meet Council demands.

5.3.4 Council operations improvementQ4 · On Track · Key departments have engaged business improvement officers to link in with ICT Business Improvement Officer to identify efficiencies and possible system upgrades or new systems requirements. The rollout of the system improvements is progressing well, and implementation is expected as programmed.

5.3.1 Council ICT and Digital Strategy · ended the year with minor disruption

New ICT Management leading development of new ICT and Digital Strategy. Baseline assessment complete. Note-relisted in the new 24/25 Operational Plan

5.3.2 Licence plate recognitionQ4 · Completed · Procurement of the vehicle, LPR technology, systems and communications plan complete. LPR systems implemented 20 April 2024. Final in configuration being completed. Project has been subject to slight delays due to ICT integration and PR challenges. Scheduled to 'Go Live" on 22 July 2024.
5.3.3 Noosa Libraries appQ4 · Completed · Over 1000 registered users and over 100,000 app interactions since launching the app in November 2023.
