Objective 5.2: Continue to deliver a financially sustainable Council that has the Provider resources now and into the future to achieve its strategic objectives. This will be supported through the introduction of enhanced sustainability reporting and performance indicators, as well as ESG (environment social and governance) accounting practices as guided by statutory requirements.

Initiative 5.2.3: Develop Council's Performance Measurement Framework.
Q1:Minor Disruption
While KPIs have been endorsed by council in the Corporate Plan, the focus is now on operational measures aligned to Council services and branch plans. The minor disruption was caused by the delay in the implemantation of the new corporate performance reporting system and the adbsence of the Executive Officer on leave.
Q2:Minor Disruption
Corporate KPIs endorsed in Council's Corporate Plan are being refined. Operational measures are to be reviewed by relevant Managers in their review of service profiles and branch plans. Performance Measurement Framework under development. There is a minor disruption because of the delay in the implementation of the new corporate performance reporting system.

The development of the Framework is progressing. A review of service profiles including the identification of efficiency and effectiveness measures is being undertaken in preparation for the 24-25 Budget process.
