Western Front storm recovery

Complete the Disaster Recovery Infrastructure program to reinstate infrastructure impacted by the March 2025 western front storm event.

Disaster Recovery Funding Agreements 2025 now also includes Disaster Recovery Funding Agreements 2024. All submissions have been lodged along with all preliminary design submitted for pricing approval updates with QRA. Estimate $50m. Preliminary work commenced on all priority sites - Nandroya Rd, Black Mountain Rd & Black Pinch Rd. Critical Infrastructure Failure and Cascading Climate Risk (CIF) Project has been completed with reporting and knowledge-sharing with other Councils, Local Disaster management Group (LDMG) and state agencies ongoing. CIF project reported to Council February 2026.

Disaster Recovery Funding Agreements 2025 - Emergency works have been completed, and all associated funding submissions have now been lodged. Emergency works cost recovery is currently in progress. A total of 9 submissions have been submitted. 2 submissions have been approved, totalling $23.8 million. 7 submissions remain under assessment, totalling $33 million.
