Initiative 4.8.1: Advance the Sunshine Coast and Noosa Regional Climate Action Roadmap by delivering the Regional Cascading Risks and Critical Infrastructure Failure Project with Sunshine Coast Regional Council.
Q1:On Track
On track with completing Phase 4 (assessing cascading risks) and beginning Phase 5 (preparing resilience measures) of the two year project. Project Completion by June 2025.
Q2:On Track
Advancing Stages 5 and 6 of the project, including the Cost Benefit Analysis using Noosaville Depot or Noosa Leisure Centre as the case study site for adaptation options. Executive Steering Group scheduled for Feb 2025.
Q3:On Track
Completing Stage 6 and 7 of the project including the economic analysis for Noosaville Depot and sharing lessons learned more broadly. On track for final completion by EOFY with embedding of project findings as the next step.
Q4:Minor Disruption
Project has completed all stages and final reports have been received. QRA grant has been acquitted. Final Executive Steering Group meeting was postponed to August 2025 to align with Executive team availability. Report to ET and Council anticipated for for September 2025.
