1.2.1Deliver the Bushland Reserve Strategic Fire Management Plan including planned burns and fuel reduction
1.2.1Continue to deliver the Noosa Bushland Reserve Strategic Fire Management Plan 2021 and deliver planned burns and mechanical fuel reduction where conditions allow in priority reserves, based on a comprehensive bushfire risk assessment.
1.2.2Continue to deliver a Community Bushcare Program for active volunteers across bushland care groups and undertake a review of the Community Bushland Care Guideline.
1.2.3Initiate a review of the Biosecurity Plan 2020 to manage invasive species which threaten Noosa's biodiversity values.
1.2.1Continue to deliver the Noosa Bushland Reserve Strategic Fire Management Plan 2021 and deliver planned burns and mechanical fuel reduction where conditions allow.
1.2.2Continue to deliver a Community Bushcare Program for the active volunteers across the bushland care groups and improve reporting and monitoring of bushland care activities including review of the Community Bushland Care Guideline.
1.2.3Continuation and expansion of the Private Conservation Partnerships Program which supports private landholders to achieve improved conservation including updating all agreements to align with the newly endorsed Private Land Conservation Partnerships Guideline.
1.2.4Continue to deliver the Environmental Grants Program to support community projects and programs.
1.2.5Provide ongoing support to the Noosa Biosphere Reserve Foundation and help advance collaborative opportunities with Council and the wider community.
1.2.6Continue to convene an Environment and Sustainability Roundtables to provide a mechanism for local community groups, government stakeholders and experts to have input into the development of council projects, program and policy.
