Initiative 5.5.2: Co-ordinate a review of Council's Strategic Risk Register with the new Council to identify and mitigate against any emerging risks and determine Council's risk appetite.

Council's Strategic Risk Register has been independently reviewed by Council's insurer in 2024. The Register will be further reviewed/enhanced by EO Internal Audit and Corporate performance and A&R Committee. In 2025, a comprehensive review of Council's Enterprise Risk and Opportunity Management Policy will be undertaken in conjunction with Councillors and Council's insurer. This will included reviewing Council's risk appetite levels.

This financial year, the Councillors were reminded of the EROMP and to consider risk factors in their overall decisionmaking processes.
