4.1.1 Traditional OwnersQ3 · Major Disruption · n Ongoing liaison with Kabi Kabi Peoples has been held over the quarter including cultural heritage and native title assessments on capital projects. Engagements on plans and strategies put on hold due to new KKPAC Board and organisational membership. A resource has been approved through Budget Review 2 for engagement and Cultural Heritage and Native Title compliance requirements.
4.1.2 Kabi Kabi Relationship AgreementQ3 · Major Disruption · Implementation of the program has been constrained by limited staff resources. Additional temporary resource allocation was approved through Budget Review 2 in the first quarter of 2026.

4.1.1 Traditional OwnersQ4 · On Track · 41 formal engagements held over FY24-25 with KKPAC and the Kabi Kabi Land & Sea Rangers. The Relationship Agreement and Kabi Kabi Commitment Implementation Plan are in final draft form. Council has also finalised the internal Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Act training program in partnership with KKPAC and scheduled for delivery starting in FY25/26.

4.1 Reconciliation Action Plan · ended the year with major disruption

This project has not formally commenced however regular engagement is occurring with Kabi Kabi including the development of an Engagement Protocol and workshops on major initiatives including Pomona Place, Noosa Regional Gallery and Noosa Foreshore Masterplan. Note-initiative to continue to engage with our traditional owners is relisted in the new 24/25 Operational Plan
