Significant milestone achieved with Council signing the new Kabi Kabi Commitment. Third workshop with KKPAC held on the Relationship Agreement, including drafting an Implementation Plan for the Commitment. Formal workshop engagements have been undertaken with KKPAC on Cemeteries Plan, Cultural Plan, Conservation Land Plan as well as Landfill Renewable & Recycling Hub (Letter of Support received for grant funding application). Collaboration workshop with Kabi Kabi Land and Sea Rangers completed, which included identifying partnership actions in land and sea management and training.

Council has also finalised the internal Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Act training program in partnership with KKPAC and scheduled for delivery starting in FY25/26.
