2.7.2 Complete needs assessment and forward plans for Noosa Leisure Centre and Noosa Aquatic Centre.

Stage 3 of project relating to Feasibility for preferred options being undertaken.

NLC Needs assessment project is nearing completion, and NAC Needs Assessment and Master Plan process is well underway with consultant. Note -relisted in the new 24/25 Operational Plan

2.7.2 Complete a needs assessment for the Noosa Leisure Centre and Noosa Aquatic Centre to provide a basis on which the sporting needs of the community are determined.

Completed NLC project in August 2024. Next Phase of that project is look to progress to potential detailed Business case. NAC project on track for completion in 24/25 Fin year.

2.7.3 Continue planning for the future of Noosa Leisure Centre and Aquatic Centre

Ongoing review of upgrades across both facilities, with Filtration system upgrades at the Noosa Aquatic Centre and security fencing project at Noosa Leisure Centre underway.

Upgrades across both facilities are subject to ongoing review, with filtration system upgrades at the Noosa Aquatic Centre currently in the procurement stage, and the security fencing project at the Noosa Leisure Centre completed.
