Expressions of Interest for the Jarrah Street lots are anticipated in Q3. Procurement is engaged, and a probity review is underway. A comprehensive database of potential contacts—including Department of State Development (and Invest QLD) —has been developed. The Property Team will undertake a separate but aligned process for the Jarrah Street site formerly leased by Eco-Lodges, supported by coordinated joint communications. Economic Development team is working closely with Waste Management Team to activate a circularity precinct as part of Renewable Energy Hub. This is considered a priority project of the Green Economy Plan.

Jarrah Street EOI: Expressions of Interest for Council-owned lots to commence in the first quarter of 2026. Procurement engaged; probity review and communications plan (including contact database) completed. Green Economy Activation: As a priority project, ECDEV and Waste Management are developing a strategic activation plan for a circularity precinct within the Renewable Energy Hub Master Plan.
