Council works follow Noosa Design Principles
Ensure all Council capital, civil and maintenance works are planned, delivered, and maintained in accordance with the Noosa Design Principles, legislative requirements, and best environmental practice. This includes minimising impacts on environmental values and incorporating fauna/flora sensitive designs into project planning and delivery, where practical.

All works are subject to review by internal working groups and executive of Council across broad internal representation to ensure consistency with the Noosa Design Principles. Staff have also been actively contributing to the update of the Noosa Design Principles currently underway as a part of cross Council collaboration project to further improve the standards of design and project outcomes.
