Absence of visible progress resulted in the halt of the 2023 nourishment works. Works are being retendered for completion by a new dredging contractor. Commencement would be April 2024, unless State authorities approve Council's request for an earlier commencement.

Dredging and renourishment works for the SEMP project have been awarded with target commencement in April 2024 (pending State authorities approve Councils request for an earlier commencement). An asset renewal program will be required to maintain the shoreline following works completion. Revised anticipated completion date 30/9/24.

Noosa Main Beach Resilience - Initial modelling design completed. Incorporation of feedback is underway. Preliminary work is underway to identify future funding pathways for construction.

Preliminary investigations have commenced to identify future funding pathways for construction.
