recruitment of Natural Areas Recovery Officer was delayed (interviewing mid-Oct). Education material has been developed.

Recovery projects undertaken at Lorikeet Drive and Mulloway St., Teewah. Communication material finalised and distribution has been focused on high value areas. Implementation initiatives occurring within allocated budget and resourcing.

Ongoing implementation program underway. Recovery plans have been developed for the esplanade south of the ferry – associated works to be undertaken in FY25/26. Works at Lorikeet Dr, Peregian Beach, have been completed.

Programme continuing within resource allocation in close liaison with Local Laws team to manage encroachments. Medium scale reclamation and rehabilitation currently underway on Noosa River Esplanade in Tewantin.

Annual implementation program. This initiative is on track including the delivery of community education and remedial works to the Noosa River Esplanade and other emerging localities.
