Noosa Woods pathway (including connection to Sofitel boardwalk) & Path widening at Memorial Park, Tewantin are scheduled for delivery in November & February respectively; Design finalisation of missing links (Boreen Point, Factory St, Kauri St, Grifith Ave) to be fast tracked for delivery in Q4 of 23/24 FY; approx. $1million allocated to pathway asset renewals this FY - this is being aligned with Walking & Cycling Strategy to deliver increased level of service (widening) where appropriate; Walking Network Plans for Cooroy Train Station & Good Shepherd School Noosaville are under development & are to be finalised in Q2 following incorporation of feedback from TMR & Internal stakeholders.

Construction of Noosa Woods pathway (including connection to Sofitel boardwalk) is nearing completion. Path widening at Memorial park Tewantin is currently scheduled for delivery in February; Design finalisation of missing links (Boreen point, kauri St, Grifith Ave) being fast tracked and still currently scheduled for delivery in Q4 of 23/24 FY. Factory Street missing link has been delayed to allow further investigation & community consultation; approx. $1million of pathway asset renewals currently underway this FY - Delivery is being aligned with Walking & Cycling Strategy to deliver increased level of service (widening) where appropriate. Council has also sought funding for coastal pathway funding under the SEQ Liveability Fund and optimistic of outcomes Walking Network Plans for Cooroy Train Station & Good Shepherd School Noosaville have been finalised and will be submitted to Council for endorsement in Q3. Priority works Schedule recommendations are being finalised following incorporation of feedback from TMR & Internal stakeholders.

Seniors Connect (Seniors Social Isolation Program - SSIP): Eleven sessions have been held across seven locations—Pomona, Sunshine Beach, Kin Kin, Cooran, Boreen Point, Peregian Beach, and Cooroy. Sessions focused on navigating the aged care system and healthy ageing. Funding for the program continues until 2029. Generations Connect (Intergenerational Program): One art therapy session has been delivered, with a second session scheduled in October in collaboration with Rise & Thrive. Funding continues until June 2026.

Seniors Connect (Seniors Social Isolation Program - SSIP): Fourteen sessions were held across seven locations: Pomona, Sunshine Beach, Kin Kin, Cooran, Boreen Point, Peregian Beach, and Cooroy. Sessions focused on navigating the aged care system and healthy ageing. This 2026 roadshow will include three topics - Finance & Legal, Brain Health and Nutrition & Gut Health. Funding for the program continues until June 2029. - Generations Connect (Intergenerational Program): arttherapy, movement and Christmas sessions have been delivered. A series of three workshops in collaboration with Rise & Thrive will be delivered in February/March 2026. Pottery, pickleball and storytime sessions will also be incorporated into the program by May 2026. Funding continues until June 2026. In 2025, 16 information sessions were held at Noosa Seniors covering topics such as in-home support, financial and digital literacy, health and wellbeing and carer's support. The offering also included the first 8-week mindfulness course, which was attended by 20 participants. The Noosa Seniors Expo saw a 50% increase in attendance compared to previous year.

Numerous community preparedness activities conducted, including the Noosa Show (12 and 13 September) with 650 engagements and distribution of 350 readiness packs. Noosa Aged care engagements with Palm Lakes Cooroy, Riverlands, Noosa Waters Retirement Estate and Noosa Seniors Connect programs. Community resilience activities took place in partnership with emergency services agencies at Stratford Park, Kin Kin, Pomona and Boreen Point. Get Ready Schools bookings in preparation for October - mid December to 2,500 local schools and home/flexi school visit. Successful Sim table engagements took place through July and September collaborating with Environmental Operations staff.

Consultant engagement and design work for Boreen Point Campground master planning have been completed. Transition to the next phase (post master planning) is currently on hold due to identified challenges in securing development approval under the current scope and scale. Further progression has been paused pending resolution of planning constraints and review of alternative delivery options. A final action remains to provide an update to the Executive and Councillors.
