The grant application for the Cities Deal funding to establish a Smart Mobility Lab within the Peregian Digital Hub precinct was unsuccessful. However, Council continues to engage with the adjacent landowner within the innovation precinct to explore potential synergies with the proposed development of that site as a Hub phase 3.

The grant application for the Cities Deal funding to establish a Smart Mobility Lab within the Peregian Digital Hub precinct was unsuccessful. However, Council continues to engage with the adjacent landowner within the innovation precinct to explore potential synergies with the proposed development of that site. Progress on advancing the Living Lab concept is being pursued through the development of the Investment Roadmap to Net Zero Emissions and the implementation of priorities under the Smart Biosphere Strategy. The formalisation of this program will require further consideration and is subject to regular Councillor workshops.
