1.2.1 Deliver the Bushland Reserve Strategic Fire Management Plan including planned burns and fuel reduction
Q1
Minor disruption due to current vacancy of Senior Fire Management Officer - currently undergoing recruitment. This has delayed some of the planning at this stage of the year. Contingency measures involve redirecting internal branch resources for support at this time. It is anticipated that the current recruitment will not affect the final delivery of the programme.
Q2
Due to the high volume of strategic plans currently being reviewed and developed within the Environmental Services Branch, the delivery timeframe for this initiative has been amended to the end of the calendar year, to ensure sufficient management and staff capacity can be allocated.
