APPOINTMENT OF 2027 SHOW HOLIDAY

Summary

Each year the Queensland Government Office of Industrial Relations writes to all Chief Executive Officers inviting them to request special and show holidays for the following year. The report and recommendation is to formalise and endorse the requested date of the Noosa Show public holiday for 2027.

The officer’s recommendation

That Council note the report by the Chief Executive Officer to the General Committee Meeting dated

7 July 2026 and request the Chief Executive Officer write to the Office of Industrial Relations

requesting the appointment of Friday, 10 September 2027 as a Show Holiday for the Noosa Shire.
