Executive summary

This report seeks to confirm recommendations for funding for the 2026-27 Community Project Grants Program category: Facility Development.

Recommendation

That Council

  1. Note the report by the Community Connection Manager to the General Committee Meeting dated 9 June 2026; and
  2. Approve the 2026-27 Community Project Grants Program - Facility Development as outlined in Attachment 1, subject to sufficient funds totalling $147,296.32 being allocated in Council's adopted 2026-27 Community Grants Program budget.

The purpose of this report is for Council to consider and approve the 2026-27 Community Project

Grants Program for Facility Development as provided in Attachment 1 of this report, with a total grant value of $147,296.32.

The Community Project Grants Program - Facility Development category provides funding for building work or infrastructure improvement projects that include new or replacement infrastructure or maintenance of existing infrastructure. This may include but is not limited to energy efficient lighting, shade sails, storage facilities, new or upgraded amenities, water harvesting, fit outs, solar systems etc. Refer to report titled '2026-27 Community Grants Program – Community Project and Signature Community Events Grants - Summary' presented to the General Committee Meeting dated 9 June
