This report seeks to confirm recommendations for funding for the 2026-27 Community Project Grants Program category: Events.

Recommendation

That Council

  1. Note the report by the Community Connection Manager to the General Committee Meeting dated 9 June 2026; and
  2. Approve the 2026-27 Community Project Grants Program - Events as outlined in Attachment 1, subject to sufficient funds totalling $32,500 being allocated in Council's adopted 2026-27 Community Grants Program budget.

The purpose of this report is for Council to consider and approve the 2026-27 Community Project

Grants Program for Events as provided in Attachment 1 of this report, with a total grant value of $32,500.

The Community Project Grants Program - Events category funds community-based festivals or events that bring residents together (beyond the applicant organisation’s membership base), including cultural, sports or community events.
