Work is nearing completion on the replacement of the Peregian Beach boardwalk on the North side of the Lifeguard hut.
Revegetation will be completed shortly and the contractor will begin tidying up the site.
40 metres of new wheelchair friendly boardwalk will reconnect Beach Access 57 and 58 as well as providing a new shower facility.
The project is funded under the Queensland Government’s Unite and Recover Fund.
It will be good to see the project completed so our beachfront park can be back to looking its best and giving lifeguards better access.
